Beyond Accountability: When Influence and Decision-Making Diverge in AI-Assisted Organisations



Why publish a paper on SSRN before a journal? 

Because some ideas deserve to start a conversation before they become a finished piece of research.

SSRN (Social Science Research Network) is one of the world's leading repositories for working papers and early-stage research. It allows researchers to share new ideas, receive feedback, and stimulate future academic and professional research.

My latest working paper explores a question that I believe organisations will increasingly face as AI becomes part of everyday decision-making.

Rather than asking whether humans remain accountable, I ask a different question:

Can decision influence gradually move towards AI while accountability remains entirely human?

The article
